Hi,

I'm installing an aftermarket stereo in my 2015 Civic Hybrid sedan. I'm using the ASWC-ane to retain steering wheel controls. I'one thousand wanting for the stock reverse camera to continue feeding to the iMid brandish. Does the aftermarket stereo affect anything here ?

From what I can tell it should exist fine, merely all the data I can seem to find are for different year Civics and I wasn't sure if the setup is the same for everything in the generation.

The big box place I'm getting information technology installed at aren't whatsoever assistance in this regard. Their only proposition is to get the adapter that will send the stock photographic camera to the aftermarket stereo (and it's not something sold by them so information technology's not like they're just trying to make a buck - I'thou already paying for installation) since they take no way of confirming that I would be able to retain the stock camera whatever other manner.

Thank you in advance for any guidance anyone can provide. Also apologies in advance if there was some info I didn't see on hither somewhere already that would accost this matter.

according to @r18-power the oem backup camera will piece of work fine through the Imid with an aftermarket headunit

4. Yes the OEM photographic camera on the imid will yet exist there and piece of work only fine, it has zip to practice with an aftermarket unit of measurement.

Yeah every bit long the OEM camera is using the I-Mid information technology won't stop working with an aftermarket head unit of measurement simply if the camera is hooked up to an OEM caput unit y'all will loose that camera role.

Yeah equally long the OEM camera is using the I-Mid it won't stop working with an aftermarket head unit merely if the camera is hooked up to an OEM head unit yous will loose that camera function.
